Description
iSMA Supervisor
The iSMA Supervisor provides real-time graphical information to standard web browser clients and performs essential system functions such as analytics, centralized data logging and trending, data archiving to external databases, alarming, dashboarding, system navigation, master scheduling, database management, and integration with enterprise software applications.
In addition, the Niagara Supervisor delivers a comprehensive graphical engineering toolset for application development, configuration, and system commissioning within Niagara-based environments.
Core iSMA Supervisor Software enables a platform to operate Niagara Framework software at supervisory level. An initial Software Maintanance Agreement (SMA) is required for Niagara Instance to operate.

Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) Requirement
An active Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is required for a Niagara instance to operate the latest version of the Niagara Framework. When the SMA expires, the system remains operational at the last installed version at the time of expiration, but no further upgrades are permitted.
To restore upgrade capability, a renewal of the maintenance term (1-year, 3-year, or 5-year) is required. This extends the SMA validity period to the current or future date, ensuring continued access to Niagara updates, security patches, and system enhancements.
