MAC36PRO Software Maintenance Agreement
Niagara Software Maintenance Agreements (SMA) are renewable contracts for the Niagara Framework that provide access to the latest Niagara updates, critical cybersecurity patches, and performance enhancements. An active SMA ensures your MAC36PRO controllers remain secure, compliant, and authorized to upgrade to new versions, reducing long-term operational risks.
If the SMA contract is not renewed, the controller software will continue to run, but you will not be able to update the software to new Niagara versions.
Initial 18-month maintenance must be purchased in conjunction with the initial Core software. Optional 3- or 5-year maintenance may be substituted.

Driver Updates• Regular updates to open and proprietary protocols, including BACnet, SNMP, and others
Future-Proof Architecture• Ability to integrate and harmonize data across assets as new data sources and technologies emerge
Access to New Drivers• Support for emerging and adjacent protocols, including MQTT and OPC UA
