Unlike typical remote I/O modules, selected MINI-RS models feature built-in control algorithms for HVAC and lighting applications. This allows them to operate as standalone controllers for light, heating, and cooling systems. Additionally, integrated timer relay modes support occupancy-based control strategies, increasing energy efficiency and system responsiveness.
Their versatility makes MINI-RS modules ideal for distributed applications where localized intelligence and control are required without adding complexity to the overall system.

Modules can be configured for BACnet or Modbus communication via DIP switches, enabling quick adaptation to project requirements. Addressing is handled using rotary switches, simplifying commissioning and reducing installation time.
MINI-RS modules can be connected directly to controllers or integrated via Modbus gateways (such as MIX-IP or MINI-IP), enabling cost-effective system expansion. A built-in mini USB port allows initial configuration without external power supply, supporting fast deployment and convenient local testing.
