Description
High-Capacity IP I/O Modules for Demanding ApplicationsMAX-IP BACnet IP and Modbus TCP/IP I/O Modules are high-performance I/O expansion modules designed to deliver advanced control and monitoring in building automation systems. Operating over Ethernet networks, they extend the functionality of controllers and supervisory systems using open protocols BACnet IP and Modbus TCP/IP.
The MAX-IP series is optimized for applications requiring a large number of digital signals, offering specialized modules such as a 24 digital inputs module for monitoring and a 12 digital outputs module with Hand-Off-Auto (HOA) switches for direct control of field devices.
More I/O. Less Hardware. Faster Deployment.
The MAX-IP modules are designed to reduce engineering time and simplify commissioning by integrating a large number of I/O points into a compact housing. The 24 digital inputs module is ideal for monitoring applications such as data centers and HVAC systems, while the 12 digital outputs module enables direct control of loads up to 3 A per channel.
Manual override via HOA switches (in output modules) provides additional operational flexibility, allowing direct field control during commissioning, maintenance, or emergency scenarios.
IP-Based Communication with Built-in Gateway FunctionalityMAX-IP modules feature dual Fast Ethernet ports operating in switch mode, enabling daisy-chain networking and reducing cabling complexity. This allows multiple modules to be connected within a single IP network architecture.
An integrated RS485 interface provides built-in Modbus TCP/IP to Modbus RTU/ASCII gateway functionality, enabling connection of additional serial devices as Modbus server (slave) nodes. This ensures seamless communication between IP and serial layers within a single system.
Fast Commissioning. Scalable Integration.
Configuration is streamlined through DIP switch protocol selection and rotary switch addressing, enabling quick setup and commissioning. A built-in mini USB port allows initial configuration without external power supply, supporting fast deployment and local testing.
Thanks to open protocol support and modular design, MAX-IP modules can be easily deployed in both new and retrofit installations, forming a scalable and future-ready solution for expanding building automation systems.
Engineered for Performance. Built for Reliability.
Designed for demanding environments, MAX-IP modules provide robust communication, reliable I/O handling, and certified compliance. With support for open standards and integration into modern BMS platforms, they ensure consistent long-term operation across a wide range of applications.
