Description
Expansion I/O Modules with a MIX of I/O’sMIX-RS BACnet and Modbus I/O Modules are multiprotocol I/O expansion devices designed to build distributed control systems in building automation applications. They extend the I/O capabilities of controllers such as MAC36PRO, iSMA-B-J9 controllers powered by Niagara, and RAC18-IP and UAC28-IP controllers with nano EDGE ENGINE embedded, via RS485 communication using open protocols BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU/ASCII. The modules are also compatible with any modern controller supporting open communication standards.
Each module integrates a mix of the most commonly used input and output types, enabling flexible deployment in both new and existing installations. Thanks to open protocol support, the modules can be easily integrated into existing BMS infrastructures without the need for additional gateways.
Fast Deployment. Scalable Architecture.
Devices can be configured as BACnet or Modbus via DIP switch selection, allowing quick adaptation to project requirements. Addressing is performed using rotary switches, significantly simplifying commissioning and reducing installation time. A built-in mini USB port allows initial configuration without external power supply, enabling fast setup and local testing.
The modular design, compact dimensions, and support for daisy-chain architectures make MIX-RS modules a scalable solution for expanding systems over time. As part of a broader portfolio including MIX, MAX, and MINI product lines, they provide flexibility to match diverse I/O requirements across applications.
Engineered for Reliability. Built for Everyday Use.
MIX-RS modules are designed for reliable operation in demanding environments, featuring high-resolution inputs, robust communication, and certified compliance. Configuration can be performed via DIP switches, communication protocols, or dedicated tools such as iSMA Configurator, ensuring flexibility during commissioning and maintenance.
