Description
Compact I/O Modules with Built-in Control and IP ConnectivityMINI-IP BACnet IP and Modbus TCP/IP I/O Modules are compact multiprotocol I/O expansion modules designed for distributed building automation systems. Operating over Ethernet networks, they support open protocols BACnet IP and Modbus TCP/IP, enabling seamless integration with controllers and existing BMS infrastructures.
The MINI-IP series extends building controllers with additional inputs and outputs and complements MIX series modules. Thanks to their compact size and versatile design, they are ideal for applications where space is limited but flexibility and functionality remain critical.
Compact Size. Powerful Control. Maximum Flexibility.
Designed for distributed applications, MINI-IP modules offer a wide range of I/O configurations across multiple module types. Their small footprint makes them ideal for installations where only a limited number of I/O points are required, without compromising system capabilities.
Selected models include built-in control algorithms for HVAC and lighting applications, allowing the modules to operate as standalone controllers. Additional timer relay modes support occupancy-based control strategies, enhancing energy efficiency and automation.
Manual override functionality (HOA – Hand/Off/Auto) enables direct local control of outputs, making MINI-IP modules especially suitable for applications requiring on-site interaction.
IP-Based Communication with Built-in Gateway FunctionalityMINI-IP modules feature both Ethernet and RS485 interfaces, combining IP-based communication with serial integration capabilities. The built-in RS485 interface acts as a Modbus TCP/IP to Modbus RTU/ASCII gateway, enabling connection of additional serial devices to the IP network.
Modules operate as client (master) devices and support integration of up to 128 Modbus slave devices via the gateway. This allows seamless expansion of systems across both IP and RS485 networks.
Fast Commissioning. Reliable Operation.
Configuration is simplified through DIP switch protocol selection and rotary switch addressing, allowing fast and intuitive setup. A built-in mini USB port enables initial configuration without external power supply, supporting quick deployment and local testing.
With support for open protocols, high-resolution inputs, and certified compliance, MINI-IP modules provide a reliable and future-ready solution for modern building automation systems.
