Our Story

John Cameron

CEO

John

With over 38 years varied experience within the Middle East region, he started back in the United Kingdom from a practical grass roots electrical engineering level where he progressed through to starting-up, opening and managing the Middle East Head Office for what has today become “Siemens” – one of the largest engineering and suppliers of Energy Management Systems and solutions in the region and worldwide. He spent over 15 years building the business up for “Siemens” to a very profitable level before setting off to start his own engineering and consultancy business in energy management and controls solutions.

By committing to and personally handling turnkey solutions – from design and engineering through to completion and handover of projects – for diverse range of clients, he has gained the respect and trust of many Companies and professional individuals throughout the Middle East region.

He has represented a number of international companies and manufacturers of technology products, allowing them to establish themselves and grow into the region by opening up offices and expanding themselves using his knowledge of the local market and to deliver some of the most advanced buildings in the region.

Additionally, he has set up and run several other companies and divisions within the region; which in turn have further grown and prospered.

With his hands-on business approach, coupled with practical engineering and organisational skills, which were honed into to a high-profile company like Siemens, he has gained the knowledge and the understanding of how a successful business needs to function in a practical manner.

With a background and a passion for technology and innovation, he has developed and applied some of the most advanced generic algorithms enabling many technologies and industries to integrate and expand. Incorporating the latest Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and solutions using some of the most advanced technology products, he is solving some of today’s energy and environmental issues.

Working with some our technology partners across the globe it was clear that such a gap was there, hence the impetus to start the company UTW.

Today, UTW are adopting some of the market leaders in technology like Dell, IBM, Microsoft, Intel and Siemens along with many others to provide some of the most advanced energy saving building solutions and integration services worldwide.
