Description
The MVC-2-RS Compact Network Actuator brings intelligent control to PICV and globe valve applications in modern hydronic systems. Designed for terminal units, coils and small HVAC circuits, it combines high-precision linear movement with built-in energy and temperature monitoring capabilities.
Thanks to native BACnet MSTP and Modbus RTU communication, MVC-2-RS integrates seamlessly with any Building Management System, providing real-time data, diagnostics and full remote configurability. When paired with PICV valves or temperature sensors, the actuator can independently execute advanced control strategies such as ΔT optimization, temperature limitation, energy calculation or power limitation, helping improve system efficiency while reducing load on controllers and electrical panels.
It’s compact housing, quiet stepper motor drive and automatic stroke calibration make MVC-2-RS easy to install, operate and commission. With its optional fail-safe version, it ensures safe operation even in critical applications where valve positioning must be guaranteed during a power loss.
