Description

High-Capacity Expansion I/O Modules for Demanding ApplicationsMAX-RS BACnet and Modbus I/O Modules are high-performance I/O expansion devices designed to deliver advanced control and monitoring capabilities in building automation systems. They extend the functionality of controllers via RS485 communication using open protocols BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, ensuring seamless integration with modern BMS platforms.

The MAX-RS series includes dedicated modules optimized for specific applications, such as a 24 digital inputs module for large-scale monitoring (e.g., data centers and HVAC systems) and a 12 digital outputs module with Hand-Off-Auto (HOA) switches for direct control of field devices. The compact design enables a large number of I/O points within a single module, reducing engineering effort and simplifying installation.

Designed for Control and Monitoring.

The 24 digital inputs module enables efficient collection of operational data across multiple points, making it ideal for monitoring-intensive environments. The 12 digital outputs module allows direct control of loads up to 3 A per channel and provides manual override capability via HOA switches, ensuring flexibility during operation, servicing, and commissioning.

Thanks to open protocol support, MAX-RS modules can be easily deployed in both new and retrofit installations, integrating seamlessly into existing BMS infrastructures without additional gateways.

Fast Deployment. Reliable Operation.

Configuration and commissioning are streamlined through DIP switch protocol selection and rotary switch addressing. A built-in mini USB port enables initial configuration without external power supply, supporting fast setup and local testing.

As part of a broader I/O ecosystem including MIX, MAX, and MINI product lines, MAX-RS modules offer a focused solution where large quantities of digital inputs or outputs are required.
